Verizon Fios availability in New Jersey
Only Verizon's check of your street address can tell you. Its city list and the FCC map show where its fiber runs, not which streets, buildings and units can order Fios today. Statewide, Verizon reports some service at 82% of New Jersey's residential units, so start with your own address before you read the county detail.
The county you live in shapes the likely result. In Sussex and Warren, Verizon's Dec 2025 filing shows wireless and no fiber, so an address there should expect Verizon 5G Home or no Verizon offer rather than Fios. In Ocean County the filing is split, with 99,636 wireless locations next to 108,624 fiber.
If the result does show Fios, ask which speed tiers your address gets. Verizon files most of its New Jersey fiber at a multi-gig speed, but a filing is not a quote for one home.

Verizon reports service at 92.6% of Jersey City's residential units, and fiber from any provider reaches 84.2%. Fiber from any provider reaches 88.2% of Newark's residential units, yet 17.9% of households get online only through a phone data plan, against 10.3% statewide. Sussex and Warren counties show no Verizon fiber at all, only wireless. Sussex still has plenty of fiber from other companies, at 78.8% of units, while Warren has 11.6%. These dated counts distinguish Verizon's reported network from other providers' fiber; check the current address result.
