Is Verizon 5G Home available at your New Jersey address?

Only Verizon's check of your street address can tell you. Verizon lists Somerset, Rahway and Warren for 5G Home in New Jersey (checked Oct 27, 2026), but its biggest wireless filings are in Ocean, Middlesex and Atlantic counties, not in the three listed towns. In Ocean County alone it files 99,636 wireless locations (FCC, Dec 31, 2025).

The listed Warren is a township in Somerset County. Warren County is separate: there Verizon files 16,979 wireless locations and none with fiber. In Atlantic County it files 51,394 wireless locations. If you live in a county with more fiber, the Fios question is Verizon Fios availability NJ.

Looking for a 5G Home coverage map? The free FCC National Broadband Map works at the address level: type in a New Jersey address and it lists the providers that reported service at that location, Verizon included. Those filings run months behind, so treat the map as a second opinion and Verizon's address check as the answer.

How sure is each claim on this page?

  1. L1: ZIP estimate. A ZIP code covers many streets. We do not publish ZIP pages.
  2. L2: FCC-reported (used on this page). Providers report the technology at each location to the FCC National Broadband Map.
  3. L3: Provider-coverage (used on this page). Verizon names the place on its own locations page (shown as "Listed by Verizon").
  4. L4: Provider-confirmed address. Only the address check reaches this level. It returns the offer for your street address and unit.
  5. L5: User-confirmed orderable. We never claim this level. You confirm it when you place the order.

Deciding in New Jersey

At a shore or northwest address, check the actual wired and wireless offers. Cable is reported statewide at 96.3% of New Jersey's units. Few New Jersey households use satellite (4.1%, the lowest of the 25 states on Verizon's 5G Home list), and DSL is nearly gone. Read whether 5G home internet can replace cable.

Only 10 providers report at least 0.5% of the state's units, the second fewest of the 25. That statewide count does not show the offers at one address. Compare every provider in New Jersey on Konecteaze.
