Is Verizon Fios available at your Rhode Island address?
Only Verizon's check of your street address can tell you. Verizon lists Providence, Pawtucket and South Kingstown for Fios, and its FCC filing shows fiber in all five counties, thinner in Newport and Bristol. Statewide, Verizon reports some service at 88.2% of residential units, so start with your own address before you read the county detail.
In Newport County, Verizon's Dec 2025 filing shows 965 fiber and 16,344 wireless locations, and in Bristol County 1,682 fiber and 8,143 wireless. If the result does show Fios, ask which speed tier your address gets: Verizon files its Rhode Island fiber just under a gigabit, and a filing is not a quote for one home.

South Kingstown
South Kingstown is a New England town rather than a Census place, so the FCC's place summary has no row for it. Its county does: Verizon files 50,661 fiber locations in Washington County. In the town itself, 93.3% of households have broadband.
Washington County has more fiber than the state as a whole. Fiber from any provider reaches 85.9% of its homes, against 83.4% statewide, and Verizon reports service at 90.5%. Kent County is higher still, with Verizon fiber at 56,878 locations and fiber from any provider at 90.5%.

Verizon files almost all of its Rhode Island fiber with 980 megabits per second as the top download.
