Is Verizon 5G Home available at your Texas address?

Only Verizon's check of your street address can tell you. Its Texas list names five metros, but a listed metro is not a promise for every home: in Dallas, Verizon reports fixed service at 62% of residential units, not all of them (FCC, Dec 31, 2025).

Searching for a 5G Home map of Houston or Dallas? The FCC National Broadband Map lets you search one address and see whether Verizon reported fixed wireless service there. Filings lag by months, so Verizon's own check is still the answer.

  2. L2: FCC-reported (used on this page). Providers report the technology at each location to the FCC National Broadband Map.
  3. L3: Provider-coverage (used on this page). Verizon names the place on its own locations page (shown as "Listed by Verizon").

Deciding in Texas

Texas has the most crowded field of the 25 states on Verizon's 5G Home list: 54 providers each report at least 0.5% of units. These statewide counts do not establish household choices. In San Antonio and Austin, compare fiber with 5G Home if both qualify. In Dallas and Houston, compare cable with 5G Home if both qualify and read whether 5G home internet can replace cable.

Statewide, 8.5% of Texas households pay for satellite, the second-highest share of the 25. For satellite homes outside the metros, read what moving off satellite internet involves.

Statewide, you can compare every provider in Texas on Konecteaze.
