Where does Kinetic offer internet in New York?
Kinetic, formerly Windstream, has a small New York footprint that is mostly fiber. It reports 58,613 New York locations, and 78.5% of them have fiber, the highest share of any Kinetic state (FCC data as of Dec 31, 2025). Half of that fiber is in Chautauqua County, around Jamestown.
Kinetic's New York page names 82 places and lists 53 for fiber (checked Oct 27, 2026). Syracuse is the largest, yet the FCC data shows no Kinetic service inside the city.

Jamestown
No other New York place has as much Kinetic fiber as Jamestown. The FCC data puts 10,346 of Kinetic's 10,550 locations in the city on fiber. Chautauqua County holds more than half of Kinetic's New York fiber. Kinetic's page lists a Connection Center in the city. Fiber from any provider reaches 92.5% of Jamestown. Syracuse and nearby listed towns
Syracuse is the largest name on Kinetic's New York fiber list. But the FCC data shows no Kinetic service inside the city. Onondaga County still has 5,713 Kinetic fiber locations. Inside Census places, the most are in Manlius (973), Brewerton (660) and Marcellus (516). Baldwinsville, Camillus, Fayetteville and Skaneateles show none. Some other names on the list, such as Clay, have no Census place at all.

Fulton and Oswego
Oswego County ranks second for Kinetic fiber in New York. Its largest block inside a town is Fulton, where 3,653 of Kinetic's 3,727 locations have it. The city of Oswego is also on Kinetic's list, but the FCC data shows no Kinetic service inside it. Fiber from any provider reaches just 2.9% of Oswego homes.
